@Kyeh I did an entire remote training class without using the camera (even though they shipped me one). In fairness, I was displaying class materials (I think PowerPoint, ugh)
Hit the key light button on the stream deck to set everything right. Then about 20% of the time try to reach the power switch for one or the other light without leaving frame because it didn’t respond to the command.
Gadgets and automation make everything simpler, right?
@mycya4me@yakkoTDI that’s the secret of good art. I learned that in an art class long ago. People don’t need to like it (at least not at first). The art should invoke an emotion from the artist to the viewer. Possibly not always good.
My webcam does pretty well in my low light situation. However, other people not so much. I think some people work in complete darkness by the way Zoom has difficulty discerning the edge of their head. Others sit in front of a window with sunlight blowing out the camera as they appear completely dark, like that character in the Thunderbolt movie.
Drop off the Zoom
I never go on camera, so lighting doesn’t matter to me.
Umm… what about the people who don’t have cameras?
Meh, you are making a big assumption about your customers.
I didn’t show my face (I no longer have Zoom calls. Thank goodness.)

@pmarin I once let my cat sit in for me:

Be happy I put in the effort to make it look bad.
@yakkoTDI yep, that’s what I do

@sjk3 That might be deliberate.
Stop eavesdropping on someone else’s computer screen…
(Never do zoom calls myself)
I have no idea what a zoom call is.
Maybe where you press the buttons really fast?
Just Zoom out.
@phendrick was a bit before my time, but
Turn on, tune in, Zoom out?
I don’t make zoom calls
